CANDLE CARE

To get the most out of your Flora + Lume candle, follow these simple tips.

First Burn

The first time you light your candle, let it burn long enough for the wax to melt all the way to the edges of the jar. This helps prevent tunneling and sets the stage for an even burn every time.

Trim the Wick

Before each use, trim the wick to about ¼ inch. This helps the candle burn cleanly, evenly, and safely.

Burn Time

Limit each burn session to 3–4 hours. This keeps the flame manageable and protects the quality of the wax and scent.

Burn Safely

• Never leave a burning candle unattended.
• Keep out of reach of children and pets.
• Always place your candle on a heat-resistant surface away from drafts and flammable objects.
• Stop burning the candle when ½ inch of wax remains to prevent overheating the jar.

Storing Your Candle

Store your candle in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. This helps preserve the essential oils and natural wax.
